Soft & complex fluids

Capillary spreading, charged interfaces, electrokinetics and the rheology of confined biological matter — soft media where geometry and dynamics are inseparable.

The group studies the response of complex fluids across micro- and nanoscales, including wetting and capillary spreading, charged interfaces, electrokinetic transport and the rheology of red blood cells under confinement.

These systems make it possible to connect microscopic interactions with experimentally observable transport and flow.
